Here we are, Chrissy and Joe Taylor, getting ready for what could possibly be the biggest day of our lives (except for our wedding day), when the twins will arrive. We're excited for them to finally come, who knows how much longer it will be...Hopefully this website will serve as a way to remember what we went thru.
As I'm typing this, the only sound in the house is pure silence. This will not be the case ever again after these babies are born. What will they be like? Will they be athletes or doctors or used car salesman (hopefully not used car salesman), who knows? But we are going to work our hardest to be the best parents these two little babies can have.
We decided to name the girl Ada, which means First Daughter, Exalted, and Noble. Her middle name will be Marie, after my sister Lisa Marie.
The boy will be called Ethan, which means Firmness, Steadfastness, and Constancy. His middle name will be Joseph, after my first given name.
A good friend of Chrissy's came over today to watch the ultrasound videos of the babies. More than anything, the impression she left on me was how much pain a pregnancy and labor can cause. She made it sound completely horrible. Let's hope she was exaggerating just slightly.
Well, my eyes are getting heavy, and it's time to go to bed. I love my life, I love my wife, and I love my two precious unborn babies. Thanks kids, for making me a proud father already.
